It's blackberry season again. And it was hot yesterday, so after tossing some blackberries in a blender and straining out the seeds,
...adding water, lemon juice and agave syrup to taste, we made blackberry paletas.
Because paleta sounds so much more appealing than popsicle, don't you think?
Those look delicious. We're gonna try making some too, thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteSi!
ReplyDeletePaletas are muy bueno, and your blackberry ones must be especially wonderful.
Oh, so yummy! I love how deep and rich the color is. I need quantities, I'm a rule follower and need a recipe!
ReplyDeleteThank you, friends!
ReplyDeleteSam, to a blenderful of blackberries (which reduced by half when blended & strained), I added maybe half as much water, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1/4c agave? I'm afraid to give quantities because I'm poor at estimates & measurements, but hopefully that will give you a place to start. :)
The paleteria downtown was always our favorite place in the summer! Next up, blackberry cream paletas?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe - I needed it, too!!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog via twitter. These sound amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Missy!
